Six lakh complaints of cybercrime were registered between August 30, 2019 and December 12, 2022 according to Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra. The minister said a financial amount of over Rs. 188 crore was saved from more than 1.11 lakh complaints received by the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System that was established in 2019.
